Goldsteins Bakery and Pie Shop was established in 1944 and is a multi award winning bakery specialising in Australia’s favourite Pies, Pastries and Cakes. All products are baked at our central bakehouse on the Gold Coast and distributed daily to our 14 stores.
Our legendary meat pies are our hero. We have a huge variety and they are famously served with our delicious mushy peas, potato and gravy. They are extremely popular and have become a real signature of our brand. Pies and savouries (family pies, sausage rolls, pasties, quiche) make up a large percentage of our total sales.
We have won numerous awards at the Official Great Aussie Meat Pie Competition including outright winner of just about every category. We believe that to make good products you have to start with the best ingredients, that’s why we never sacrifice our quality.
Coffee is the perfect complimentary line to our pies and cakes and is quickly becoming a champion of our brand. Other popular lines include birthday cakes, quiche, family pies cold drinks and a few other surprises that keep the tills ticking over.
Customers can relax in our cafe style pie shops and enjoy great food, a mouth watering selection of cakes and slices and a barista made coffee – all for great value.
Qualifications Required
If you want to open a Goldsteins Bakery franchise we will provide you with the tools you need for success. You’ll need to have a friendly disposition, an open mind, basic administration skills and a positive approach to life – the rest we can teach you! You will be required to complete our training program and we’ll be here for you whenever you need us.
We deliver to our stores 7 days a week. That means no baking or preparation is required on site, so you can still have a life. We have guidelines to ensure you order your stock daily and at all times maintain high standards of food quality which Goldsteins Bakery customers expect and come back for time and time again.

Training Provided
Along with the decision to recruit bakery franchisees comes a great responsibility. To ensure all franchisees enter into our business concept with the right competencies and skills we provide extensive support and training in order to equip you with the same business skills that have made the Goldstein’s brand so successful. We provide five weeks of training in total; beginning with 3 weeks prior to your store opening, followed by a fulltime trainer with you in your new store for a further two weeks. That’s how we assist you in establishing and organising your very own business.
Marketing Support
The marketing team run a 12 month marketing strategy with a strong focus on branding and promotional activities to drive customers into our stores. When you manage your own bakery franchise it is also crucial that you do your own local area marketing and networking.
